The leadership team of the Centre for Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases (CERID), LAUTECH provides strategic direction for the Centre's research, diagnostics, genomics, bioinformatics, training, and public health programmes.
Our leaders are internationally recognized scientists and professors with extensive experience in infectious diseases, molecular biology, virology, bacteriology, epidemiology, biostatistics, and translational health research. They oversee multidisciplinary teams that drive innovation, capacity development, disease surveillance, and evidence-based public health interventions.
Through scientific excellence, mentorship, and collaborative leadership, the CERID leadership team is committed to strengthening research capacity and advancing health security in Nigeria, Africa, and the global scientific community.
